Always great fun coming here. Staff is friendly and helpful, atmosphere is fantastic, the patio is wonderful, and everything is clean. Can't complain about the food neither. The 'chicken' sandwiches, the burgers (both black bean and impossible), the fries, Brussels, everything has been wonderful every time I come by. I live real close so I'm here all the time. The standard burger legit tastes like a normal burger, but their specialty stuff is fantastic (especially the garlic girl). Cocktails are great too. Check the place out, it's great.

Blown away that everything was vegan—it tasted so good, you’d never guess it wasn’t! Spicy Fried Brussels Sprouts: These were a standout! The tangy sauce was evenly coated on every bite. This is a must reorder. This wasn't on the physical menu, only online, but they were very accommodating. Francis Burger: Super juicy and filling, the cheese added the perfect touch of saltiness. The fries on the side were crisp and perfect. Spicy Hunny Dijon Chicken Sandwich: The chicken was tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice—manageable and flavorful. The coleslaw added a nice, refreshing crunch, making it light and easy to eat. Small Cone Twist: The soft serve was smooth and standard. Not a game-changer, but a nice way to wrap up the meal. Decided to check out this tonight since this is near me and I've only had Francis one other time off Uber eats, it was alright then, only alright cause it was cold likely, but having it dine in, It is amazing. Great food, got it very quick and had amazing service! Definitely will be back! And very happy to have a location near me.
I came on a Friday night and it was super busy which is always a good sign. There was about a 15 minute wait but it didn't take that long to get a table. Everyone from the hostess to the server was so friendly and made our visit such a great experience. The atmosphere and decor was super cool and the art on the walls was really eye catching. My friend commented how much he really enjoyed the ambiance, lighting, and decor and he has a great eye for design. Now onto the food. It was my first time in Minneapolis so a friend recommended I HAD to try a Juicy Lucy so I was glad to find a vegan version here (it's the reason I came!) and while the Juicy Lucy was good (that cheese was NICE!), more people need to talk about the Francisco. That burger was so good, my friend was sad we agreed to split the burgers because he wanted the whole thing all to himself. He's not vegan and said it was the best burger (vegan or otherwise) that he's ever had! It truly was flavorful and delicious. I can't say enough about it! The chocolate shake was yummy too! Very chocolatey. The cookie was good too and the cupcake... Whew! Delish!
This place has 5 stars and I see why! Has everything a burger joint should offer vegan-style. I had the Minnesota Spicy Chicken and it was delicious! If you like heat, add the habanero sauce. I'm traveling for work and wish I had more time to try some dessert but this place will definitely be in my favorites for my next visit! The staff is fabulously friendly too!
I’m always a little skeptical of vegan burgers because, as an omnivore, they are good but always just make me want a regular burger. Not so at Francis. The burger tastes like the real thing. I got the juicy Lucy, which was delicious. The cheese didn’t taste fake. The French fries were perfectly crisp, and I had the homemade cherry soda, which was definitely sweet but hit the spot. I can’t wait to go back and try their soft serve; I was too full this time!
Phenomenal experience! I came here for the first time today due to the high reviews. Prior to arriving, I was not aware this was a plant based restaurant! I found out when I arrived and saw the sign. This made me even more curious to try. The ambience of this restaurant is amazing! It very cute and cozy. They have overhead doors which I assume is open during the summer to allow outdoor seating. The restaurant is fairly small but I do appreciate that they have their own parking lot as street parking can be very frustrating. I ordered the Francis burger and fries as well as the cherry soda and the Part-Time Lover (Neapolitan Cold Brew). My partner ordered the Francisco burger and a beer. The manager I presume was phenomenal, he stopped by our table and offered assistance as well as suggestions. He was super knowledgeable and very personable. After placing our orders, the food arrived fairly quickly. Everything was absolutely amaaaaazing!! To my knowledge, this was my first plant based burger and it exceeded all expectations. My partner who is very skeptical of plant based burgers absolutely loved it! I HIGHly recommend this place based on the quality of the food and the service. I also love how they have a full bar which is absolutely amazing! Lastly, the cherry soda was amazing and my personal favorite! I would definitely return as this will probably be my go to spot.
